Terms and Conditions
EFFECTIVE DATE: March, 2024
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Freeway Festival (“Festival”) organized by Freeway (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By participating in the Festival, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not participate in the Festival.
1. Eligibility:
- Participation in the Festival is open to participants from around the world who comply with these Terms.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
2. Submission Guidelines:
- Participants may submit a video of maximum duration of 5 minutes.
- All submitted videos must comply with the theme and guidelines of the Festival, which will be outlined on the Festival’s website.
- Participants are solely responsible for the content they submit and must ensure that they have all necessary rights to the content.
3. Intellectual Property:
- By submitting a video to the Festival, participants grant FREEWAY FEST a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the content for promotional and marketing purposes related to the Festival.
- Participants retain ownership of the intellectual property rights to their submitted videos.
4. Awards:
- Awards will be based on the videos that receive the most views and interaction on our website during the specified period.
- The criteria for determining the winners will be outlined on the Festival’s website
5. Privacy Policy:
The privacy of participants is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose personal information.
6. Limitation of Liability:
- Freeway is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or undeliverable submissions, including technical failures or other errors.
- In no event shall Freeway be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your participation in the Festival.
7. Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut.
8. Changes to Terms:
Freeway reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Festival’s website.
